The interview process is thorough but fair. We will give you a date for the interview, these will be held face to face. This is for the purpose of getting to know you as an individual and what you can bring to the team. The interview is an opportunity to understand your skills, knowledge and experience and how that applies to the role. If you are then successful, we will send you an offer.
Training is an integral part of you getting the tools you need to be able to support the children in our homes, your team and you. Staff members will be expected to complete all mandatory training in addition to training around Safeguarding Children and Young People, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, Child Sexual Criminal Exploitation (CSE/CCE), medication training, MAPA Physical Intervention Training and any specific training relating to the identified needs of the child at the home. Staff are encouraged to be proactive and identify any specific training needs they may have through the supervision process.
